ID KAIST is pleased to welcome Sungsimdang (성심당) —Daejeon’s signature bakery—to the ID303 Design Methods (디자인 방법) course. During their visit, Sungsimdang’s leadership shared their recent “Green” initiatives, which focus on recycling, waste reduction, and fostering a more environmentally conscious corporate culture. Taught by Professor Suk in the Spring semester, ID303 introduces a variety of design methods that students then apply to real-world cases. In this collaboration, students will explore and propose creative ideas to support Sungsimdang’s sustainability campaign. Utilizing the double-diamond design process, the class will work to generate and refine solutions through strategic phases of divergence and convergence. Everyone in the course is excited to participate in this meaningful partnership!
