Dr. Eunji Woo (우은지) joins the School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) as a Research Assistant Professor. After receiving her Ph.D. in Industrial Design from KAIST in 2025, she spent one year as a postdoctoral researcher at Color Lab.
At PolyU, she will conduct research under the theme “Designing Interventions for Value Formation & Alignment in Early-Stage Ventures.” Her work investigates how design interventions can support emerging ventures in articulating, negotiating, and aligning the values of diverse stakeholders as their ideas and practices take shape. Building on her previous research on participatory design and community-based innovation, she is particularly interested in how design can enable collective sense-making and guide value-sensitive decision-making in uncertain and evolving contexts.
